I’ve been using the same shampoo and conditioner for close to two years now. I wanted to try something new, but was nervous about how it would affect my hair. Kind of a silly thought, isn’t it? My hair tends to be really dry this time of year, so I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that would really nourish my hair. All other things like moisture, shine, damage repair, and protection for color-treated hair were also equally important. Another criteria I had in mind was cost – I didn’t want to pay a ton for these products, but wanted good quality. I first looked at hair products that I already owned to see if those brands made shampoo and conditioner as well.

My favorite dry shampoo and leave-in conditioner are by amika, so that was the first brand I looked into. After browsing their shampoos and conditioners I decided to try their Triple RX Shampoo and Conditioner. I’ve only been using them for about two weeks, but I’m so impressed with how my hair looks and feels! My hair is not as greasy, my ends don’t look frayed, and it feels incredibly soft. They also sent me a travel sized Bombshell Blowout Spray that I’ve been using before I blow-dry or curl my hair. It adds nice texture that make braiding easier without adding extra weight.
Overall, I’m really pleased with my shampoo and conditioner. It does everything it’s supposed to do, and makes my hair smell incredible in the meantime.
