RMS Beauty Makeup Routine

I put a great deal of effort into being healthy. I exercise daily, eat balanced meals, use all natural face products, etc. But what I wasn’t using was natural makeup. If everything else I was using was natural, why not add makeup to the category too? I’ve tried Mineral Fusion, but the staying power wasn’t there for me. I did a bit of research about RMS Beauty and decided to give them a try. They’re not the cheapest, so I was really hoping they would live up to hype. I have now been using RMS Beauty products for over a month now and I honestly love them! I have normal/combination skin and the creamy textures of the products don’t make me break out. Since the blush, luminizer, and coverup are all made with coconut oil, so I feel like these products are really hydrating my skin.

Here’s what my makeup routine has been lately. All up, this takes me under 10 minutes to do. You can use your fingers for application, but I’m not a fan of that so I’m using Real Techniques brushes and a Sephora brush.

In circular motions I apply “un”coverup to my whole face and a little under my jaw so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a mask.

Using a stippling brush, I apply the Lip2Cheek blush to the apples of my cheeks and blend it out with my fingers to make it look more natural. I also applied a little of this to my lips to give them a nice rosy color.

I then like to apply a luminizer above my cheek bones, down the bridge of my nose and above my cupids bow to give my skin a nice dewy glow.

setting powder

I like to add a little bit of the setting powder to my T-zone to prevent any excess shine. This powder is so fine it feels so silky when I apply it and not like a heavy extra layer.
