I love the idea of wearing cozy pants and my favorite over-sized sweater on Thanksgiving, but since my dad likes to take a lot of bad photos (and by bad I’m mean they’re usually out of focus and crooked) I decided to wearing something a little nicer while still being comfortable. I’ve worn this faux suede skirt a number of times the past couple of months because I love how wearable it is. I paired the skirt with a flannel gingham top that is as warm as it is cute.
Leading up to Thanksgiving people are quick say what they’re thankful for, but after Thanksgiving that thankfulness seems to fade away. I think it’s important to remember to be thankful everyday, realize life is a blessing, and cherish the people who are around you, not only during the holiday season.
Happy hump day!
